  This desk is really an attractive furniture piece if you manage to put it together right. there are plenty of steps and the instructions come with zero words. you should put it together simply by looking at pics. some people may be fine with this, others may not. however, in the instruction booklet there is a number listed in the bottom of every page that you may call to connect you with a person that will guide you through assembly if you are unsure about something. it is extremely easy to make a blunder which can potentially conclude messing up the finished product, but perhaps that is the risk you consider in buying a merchandise that isn't pre-assembled.i really like the rich dark color and texture of the "lumber" it really is made out of. initially (and touch) it certainly does seem like it's real timber. although, as additional reviewers have noted it can scratch very easily. you just have to be very careful when construction it and transporting it. it will endure daily tasks quickly though. i wrapped my desk in aged towels when moving it and the finish is fine.i really do not understand why other persons have complained about the product not being real wood. i was never beneath the impression that's what i was obtaining when i purchased this. if having a desk crafted from solid wood is important to you then it would probably be best to start out looking at desks within a higher price point.overall for the amount of money you pay it is great, my simply complaint is the instruction manual that comes with it and the sturdiness of the finish. this piece will not transport well.pros: good value, attractive, storage, largecons: not durable, not easily transportable, difficult assembly

  This filing cabinet looks amazing. I like having a piece of beautiful furniture that I can keep all my important files at an arms reach rather than an aluminium tacky cabinet trapped in the corner somewhere. I now have this in a nook in my own kitchen area near the laptop and it looks like a fairly business/bill paying area if you even knew the cabinet was a filing cabinet in the first place. I'm very pleased with this piece. It took some time to assemble but it was easy minus the 2 minimal missing screws right at the end (sort of frustrating) but I had some that worked in their place. Other than that, happy customer!

    All parts accounted for and directions were flawless! The safe-keeping is decent and it generally does not take up a lot of space. Precisely what I was looking for! Uncertain I'd really utilize it as a desk to remain at although I guess you could in a pinch.

      I bought this desk as a birthday present for my 12 year previous daughter, it came right on time, the bits were perfect with no damages. The size was what I anticipated. takes at least 4 hours to put together. The entire piece is fairly heavy, so asemble it where you intend to place it. overall tidy look. the bookshelf is very practical and fits more literature than it seems too which is nice, the ony issue was that it took 4 time to assemble ( my hubby and 12 year old assembled it). Be sure to read assembly recommendations very carefuly. Overall great table, just what my daughter needed and expected.

        This cabinet arrived without any damage and promptly. It's well made, the instructions are clear and easy to comply with with an assembly period of two hours for just one person. It looks excellent. Those who complain that it's not actual wood - look at the specifications. It says it's not wood. For individuals who say the guidance are poor - I have no idea how they could make it any simpler. Each goes step by step with pics and didn't miss a very important factor. For those who say it's not sturdy - tighten down all of the screws. For those that complain that the cabinet bottom level/back are light in weight - you are correct nonetheless it wasn't meant to be considered a cabinet for "products" - it's for hanging data. If you want a cabinet for products - buy something else. This cabinet is exactly what it claims to get - a cabinet for hanging data files. It's as good a benefit as anything I found in virtually any store but with a much nicer style. I recommend this product.
